Seasonal decor is not only festive, but switching up your décor to correspond with the weather can be very practical. For example, throw blankets. Bringing out the thicker throw blankets in wintertime can help keep you and your family warm. However, they also add to the mood of your home, making you feel cozy on cold and snowy days. In the summer, switching them out for lighter, cotton blankets can make your space feel light and airy. I like to make changes like this throughout the seasons.
Seasonal doesn’t only apply to nature’s seasons but also to the big holiday season of October through January! From Halloween to New Years, there’s so much going on during those holiday months, and I like to make it feel a little more special by adding some decorative touches.
Switching things up seasonally is a great way to change a little of the décor within your home to keep everything feeling fresh and reflective of the season of life you are currently journeying through.
